Fed up with seeing Mike Ashley rip out the heart and soul from Newcastle United? Here’s a few reasons why you should follow Blyth Spartans instead!
Clarky’s at the wheel
Toon stalwart Lee Clark is now at the helm after 2 years out of Management. After losing almost the entirety of last seasons squad, Lee’s putting together a decent side looking to make an impact in the league full of hard working local lads who play for the shirt.
We’ll have total of 6 local derbies next season, against the likes of Gateshead, Spennymoor and Darlington. As well as visits from former football league clubs like York City, Boston United, Hereford, Chester and Kidderminster Harriers. There’s also the FA Cup and the FA Trophy!
Value for money
Our ticket prices are amongst the lowest in the league!
Season tickets prices are pretty good as well.
The clubhouse is always with a visit! All pints well under £3, and it’s 2 for £5 on bottles of Morretti, Corona and Stella amongst others as well as can of Red Stripe for only £2.50!
Rob is God
Bare witness to Robbie Dale, possibly the best footballer who never turned pro there’s ever been.
Our awaydays are always good fun! In whatever random pub or club we end up invading In the arse end of nowhere, there’s a laugh to be had. Oh and the football of course as well.
Meeting the natives
You’ll also get to meet Blyth’s answer to the Chicken Connoisseur..
We need you
NUFC and Mike Ashley especially, couldn’t care less about the supporters. At Blyth, the fans mean everything to club.
Higher attendances means more money will be available to Clarky to continue improving the team.
Simply put we don’t just want your support, we NEED your support.
